Holy Saturday 4 April
20:00 The Great Vigil and First Mass of Easter
(With breathtaking music from Handel’s “Messiah” and Bach’s “St John’s Passion”)
Join us for one of the most moving acts of worship in the Christian calendar. We gather in complete darkness to kindle the new fire. Then an ancient Easter hymn is chanted as the church is steadily filled by a wave of golden candlelight. Powerful readings from scripture and majestic sacred music guide our journey from darkness to light. At the high point of worship, the church is flooded with light, flowers and the sound of handheld bells as we proclaim that “Christ is Risen. He is risen indeed!”
Easter Sunday 5 April
08:00 Said Mass (Book of Common Prayer)
10:30 Sung Family Mass followed by Easter Egg Hunt
A celebration of new life and hope. This service includes popular Easter hymns and a fun interactive sermon for all ages. Afterwards we go in search of hidden Easter eggs!
