Sunday 12 June
Centenary Festival Mass, 10.30am
Join us for a service of thanksgiving as we celebrate 100 years of Christian ministry in Pitshanger Lane.
The Bishop of London, the Rt Revd & Rt Hon Richard Chartres, will be the President and Preacher. The High Mass will include music by Haydn, with choir and orchestra, as well as music from the original dedication service in 1916.
Come along wearing an Edwardian hat!
Edwardian Fair & Picnic, 12.30pm to 4pm
Following straight on from our celebration service, you’re invited to our 100th birthday party! We’re serving free sandwiches, strawberries & cream, Buck’s Fizz, Pimm’s and squash (while stocks last!). Bring your favourite picnic blanket or chair and any special drinks.
The afternoon will be filled with whimsical Edwardian entertainment, including stilt walkers, Punch & Judy shows, bubbleologists and magicians. We will round off the festivities with jolly community singing, to celebrate the 100th birthday of St Barnabas as well as the 90th birthday of the Queen.
Edwardian Bake Off
